IN THE GARDEN OF INAYAT:
CULTIVATING OUR BODIES, HEARTS, AND SOULS
A Sufi Retreat with AZIZA SCOTT

"Unfold Thy Secret through Nature and reveal Thy Mystery through my heart"
Hazrat Inayat Khan

FRIDAY, JUNE 18 SUNDAY, JUNE 20

The retreat will focus on the experience of Nature, both within and without, as a manifestation of the Divine. Through a series of spiritual practices inspired by the Sufi tradition, participants will explore the Divine Mystery as it is revealed both in the heart and in the beauty of creation. Time will be spent doing group practices and taking walks in nature, while celebrating the summer solstice. This program is appropriate for those new to the retreat process as well as for the experienced, and for those currently guiding retreats.

Aziza structures the program so that participants become deeply immersed in the heart and spirit of the meditation practices. She fosters an atmosphere of sacredness and purposefulness that is healing and energizing to the participants. Her humor and common sense provide a no-nonsense approach to spirituality, which encompasses personal problem solving, inner realization and growth.

Aziza Scott, M.Ed, has been a student of the retreat process for over 30 years. She worked closely with Pir Vilayat, and presently with Pir Zia as head of the Esoteric School and director of the Retreat Guide Training Program of the Sufi Order International. She has many years experience leading retreats in the US, Europe and India.
